    Hello, I am fresh in Linux Field. Before I used Ubuntu 23.10 to run some Computational Chemistry softwares, they run normally,but recently
 I have recently updated my Ubuntu to 24.04, finding that when I switch my Graphic Driver to **Nvidia 535/550**(I tried the drivers all, my graphic card is 4060, with Graphics Processing Unit Direct), and turn on Gaussview 6.0.16 (a graphical software to build Chemistry molecular structure in computational chemistry field, feels as below:)


The software soon crashed and got a "Segmentation Error (Core Dumped) "

I searched for the reason for a long time but with no results.
In an occasion when I switched my graphic driver to **nouveau**, no errors reported!
I tried GDB to follow the dump but in the real machine it runs also OK in NVIDIA drivers (?! I cannot trace the error! )

I then tried Ubuntu 24.04, Archlinux ,and Rocky Linux 9.3 on vmware( even with no extra NVIDIA drivers, just open-vm-tools) they resulted in these:
Ubuntu 24.04 Reported ```0x0000155540b0be35 in ?? () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libLLVM.so.19.1```
Arch Linux Reported ```0x0000155542cdecb8 in LLVMBuildBitCast () from /usr/lib/libLLVM.so.19.1```
Rocky 9.3 Reported no error which I then examined the libLLVM version was 18.1 (in /usr/lib/libLLVM)
Ubuntu 23.10 Reported no error which version was 15.1
