I installed and built vsn 13 (I guess thats latest on trunk) after I couldnt
get my older vsn 8 to suppress warnings...

I have tried various ways documented on the internet to kill off the warnings
from
if (FD_ISSET(*sd, &readfds))

to totally ZERO effect. There are a few similar issues on similar lines
161:9: warning: do not use array subscript when the index is not an integer
constant expression; use gsl::at() instead
[cppcoreguidelines-pro-bounds-constant-array-index]
    if (FD_ISSET(masterSocketFd, &readfds))
161:9: warning: use of a signed integer operand with a binary bitwise operator
[hicpp-signed-bitwise]
    if (FD_ISSET(masterSocketFd, &readfds))

I have tried ignoring the specific errors I even tried
#pragma gcc diagnostic ignore "-Wall"
and
#pragma clang diagnostic ignore "-Wall"

No effect, these are instructions widely available on the internet and appear
to have zero effect.

I am using gcc on centos
