We distribute stripped pdbs with our products and we were looking into why they
were so much larger. It looks like a good portion of it is that
llvm-compiled-objs are putting static functions (private functions) into the
global symbol table. So, even when using the /PDBSTRIPPED: option of the MSVC
linker, we're still getting a bunch of function names and info that we expect
to be stripped (and are stripped with MSVC compiled source).
Thanks!
