<pre>Hi, all.
This code, test.cc, is a valid code I guess, but Clang rejects to compile it.
$cat test.cc
int foo (){
int var = 0;
enum E { e1 = 1 ? 1 : var};
return e1;
}
$clang++ test.cc
test.cc:3:27: error: reference to local variable 'var' declared in enclosing
function 'foo'
enum E { e1 = 1 ? 1 : var};
^
test.cc:2:9: note: 'var' declared here
int var = 0;
^
1 error generated.
While in other mainstream compilers, gcc, icc, or msvc, they all accept this
code.
Every Clang version from 4.0 onwards behaves the same (I tested in Godbolt, and
I didn't test anything older).
Thanks,
Haoxin</pre>
