<pre>Clang's default -std= mode changed since clang 5, and this code is valid in the
new default standard mode.
Clang trunk with -std=c++98 still warns.
Clang 5 with -std=c++11 does not warn.
I believe this is working as intended, given the change in default -std mode.
If GCC rejects this under -pedantic-errors in C++11 or later, I think that's a
GCC bug.</pre>
