<pre>There are several tests that fail for me on a single-core system that aren't
failing on systems with multiple cores. My operating system is Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. I noticed while debugging the api/omp_in_parallel.c test
that omp_in_parallel() always returns false on the single-core system. Here is
the full list of test failures:
