The issue prevents platform-independent suppression of static analysis warnings
from CppCoreCheck, for example, i have to define the following macro to use as
suppression:

#define GSL_SUPPRESS(x) [[gsl::suppress(x)]]

#if defined(__clang__)
#define GSL_SUPPRESS(x) [[gsl::suppress("x")]]
