<pre>r313374 added code to output the file checksums into the object file. However
there is a bug where the STRING of the checksum is outputted instead of the
actual hex bytes. This prevent pdbs from being loaded by Visual Studio. This
was reverted in r313431. This bug needs to be fixed and then the checksum
patch can re-land.</pre>
