<pre>Jeremy, the fix makes clang not link the eprintf library. Removing it from the
build is not essential because it is just an unused file, so that change will
be in 4.0.
This change does resolve the bug that was reported (being unable to link i386
code). Removing eprintf from the x86_64 slice is not strictly required for
correctness, and can be tracked in a separate bug which does not justify
escalation to 3.9.
This bug is resolved, please don't abuse our bug tracker by re-opening bugs
when the resolution is not your intended solution. If the problem reported is
fixed, the bug is fixed. If there are further changes you want to see, please
file new bugs.</pre>
