GCC is happy to assemble both forms of the instruction, but clang throws an
error on the second:

$ clang hello.c -o hello
<inline asm>:1:25: error: invalid operand for instruction
        fmul v22.2s,v6.2s,v0.2s[0]
                               ^
1 error generated.

It seems the parser is a bit too strict here.</pre>
