<pre>Clang supports handing fortran code off to another compiler. However, it gets
confused when -fsyntax-only is applied:
$ clang -fsyntax-only hello.f90
clang: error: invalid output type 'none' for use with gcc tool
This becomes especially useful when you use it with -J to build fortran
modules, "clang -fsyntax-only somefortran.f90 -J moduledir". Clang already
knows to pass along the -J flag.</pre>
