It must be :
assert(getOperand(0)->getType()->getTypeID() == cast<PointerType>
getOperand(1)->getType())->getElementType()->getTypeID()&& "Ptr must be a
pointer to Val type!");
as we are checking the Argument type , not the its pointer.</pre>
