driver needs to accept lib file names, but clang-cl doesn't. Consider a test
file named test.cpp with an empty main function. The following commands work
fine if $CC is cl.exe:
$CC -o test.obj -c test.cpp
$CC -o test.exe test.obj kernel32.lib
clang-cl however gives the following error:
clang-cl.exe: error: no such file or directory: 'kernel32.lib'</pre>
