That's a definition, not just a declaration, though. Try this:

struct __declspec(align(16)) S;
struct S {};
static_assert(__alignof(S) == 1, "");

... the assert passes in VS, fails in clang-cl.

I believe this was a tracking bug so Warren didn't forget to fix these things;
reopening it on that basis.</pre>
