Running llc -O0 -o bt.s bugpoint-reduced-simplified.ll on the attached test
case yields:
llvm-trunk-build/lib/Target/PowerPC/InstPrinter/../PPCGenAsmWriter.inc:2397:
void llvm::PPCInstPrinter::printInstruction(const llvm::MCInst*,
llvm::raw_ostream&): Assertion `Bits != 0 && "Cannot print this instruction."'
failed.
Two things:
- Generating the .ll file without -g causes the crash to go away
- Running llc with -fast-isel=0 does not crash</pre>
