<pre>I have both VS2010 and VS2012 installed but use VS2010 most of the time.
$ which link
/cygdrive/c/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0/VC/Bin/link
For some reason, the VS2012 linker doesn't work for me in Cygwin:
$ /cygdrive/c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/Microsoft\ Visual\ Studio\
11.0/VC/bin/link -?
/cygdrive/c/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0/VC/bin/link.exe:
error while loading shared libraries: mspdb110.dll: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
[Probably because I've put LIB/LIBPATH manually in Cygwin .bashrc]
As of r189583,
$ clang-cl hello.cpp
clang-cl.exe: error: linker command failed due to signal (use -v to see
invocation)
$ clang-cl -### hello.cpp
...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\bin\link.exe"
"-out:hello.exe" "-nologo" "C:\\cygwin\\tmp\\hello-aaf0b3.obj"</pre>
