<pre>The version of clang I tested with includes r174445, r174479, and r174785,
The following sequence of commands:
echo "int main() { return 0; }" | clang -g -x c -c - -emit-llvm -o main.bc
echo "int foo() { return 0; }" | clang -g -x c -c - -emit-llvm -o foo.bc
llvm-link main.bc foo.bc -o link.bc
clang -g link.bc -save-temps
produces:
/usr/bin/ld: link.o:(.debug_info+0x69): error: undefined reference to
'.Lline_table_start1'
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see
invocation)
Note that '-save-temps' is not required to reproduce the problem for targets
that do not have an integrated assembler.</pre>
