            Bug ID: 37710
           Summary: Indent line continue in macros
           Product: clang
           Version: 6.0
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P
         Component: Formatter
          Assignee: unassignedclangbugs at nondot.org
          Reporter: matthew.woehlke at kitware.com

I'm having a number of issues trying to get clang-format to behave reasonably

For this RFE, specifically, I would like an option to *indent* the line
continuation (`\`) in macro definitions. This would be a new possible value for
AlignEscapedNewlines (probably named 'Indent'). IOW:

  // Current
  #define x \
    blah \

  // Desired
  #define x \
    blah \
