I just compiled clang 3.3 (from the final 3.3 tags of the various svn
repositories described in the GettingStarted web page), and tried again with
that version. I could reproduce the bug with clang 3.3.

Then I tried the same thing with clang 3.4svn (just using the trunk of those
svn repositories), and that actually worked.

So from what I can tell, this bug was fixed in 3.4. Closing.
