Markus,

I'm marking this bug as WORKSFORME because we've dropped llvm-gcc3 support.
llvm-gcc4 no longer requires gccld and thus there's no need to build paths to
pass to or from gccld. 

If you still have an issue with this with llvm-gcc4, please reopen.
