I don't think my predsimplify changes helped this, maybe the backend stuff did.
Either way, I've re-run the tests and performance GCC/LLC is 0.91 with and
without predsimplify, so I'm closing this bug.

Hopefully if I encounter something like this in the future I'll be able narrow
the bug to a smaller testcase before filing.
