Here is reproducible test:
Run:
    php -r "sleep(1000);"
In another terminal, run:
    echo process detach | lldb -p $(pgrep -fn php)
Sometimes it kills it after 2nd run. This doesn't happens in gdb, e.g.: echo
detach | gdb -p $(pgrep -fn php)
