Since it's outside of Hans's working hours, let me reply in his stead. We
found it by accident. We try to use a hermetic libc++, but on macOS we also
bundle trunk libc++ headers with the compiler. These aren't supposed to be
used in Chromium builds, but we accidentally only passed -nostdinc++ to .cc
compilations, not to .mm compilations. So even though we didn't mean to
rely on libc++ abi stability, we did. That's fixed now, so we won't be able
to find bugs like this next time.
