That's a fair point about the extra moves. I added a helper function at @philnik777's suggestion to fix problems in the `robust_against_*` tests caused by my initial implementation (see discussion [here](https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/68494#discussion_r1349577530)). Is there a way we could satisfy both requirements?
