I see https://reviews.llvm.org/D31568 which appears to commit Python3 support
to clang.index in Apr-2017, but I don't see any mention of it in the 4.0.1
release notes from Jul-2017. That would be entirely reasonable if this
"feature" was planned for release in say 5.0 (i.e. using the new release
numbering)...is that the case?

(Part of the reason for my confusion around this is that Google "clang release
notes" seems to jump from 4.0.0 to the in-progress 6.0.0, with no mention of
5).

I do see that there is an LLVM 5.0 release planned for August http://
lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2017-June/114076.html. If there *is* a
clang.index 5 release planned as part of this, will the Python3 support be
included?

Than ks, Shaheed
