[cfe-dev] [EXT] Regression in 8.0.0-RC1

The branch is still open for bugfixes for the next few days; if we have a fix soon, it could be cherry-picked.

A bug report with more information would likely get a response faster.  At minimum, it should include the specific error message you’re seeing and preprocessed source (see http://llvm.org/docs/HowToSubmitABug.html ). The result of a “git bisect” would also be helpful, if you have time.

Hello all,

I'm not familiar with the release blockers and the release testing.
When testing the RC1 on our code base, it seems that the COM headers no longer parse.
Any chance that https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40565 can become a release blocker?
