The llvmdev should be more suitable! It is llvm's issue.

It is well-known (but undocumented) issue. most developers must check
with targets=all.
IIRC, it has not been filed.

I did not know. on which configuration is your llvm-fail.gz?

BTW, Have you tried "make check-all"?
