</div>It might not block the compilation process, but it might break the<br>
linking process (build attributes, libraries), or change code<br>
generation, with regards to vectorization and optimizations. I agree<br>
this is not critical, but it's the kind of bug that is hard to find<br>
(as opposed to a compilation error), and the kind of warnings that<br>
people tend not to look at.<br>

I have no more arguments against the removal, and I don't feel too bad<br>
about it, but was just raising the issue. If people think it's for the<br>
best, I'll go with it.<br>
