For the sake of documentation, I started another thread with [PATCH] in the

And here's a repost of what I posted in that thread:

I'm just the maintainer of the llvm package for RHEL/EPEL 6 and I was just
trying to be a good citizen and flow the patch upstream. I don't have
access to Amazon Linux to test anything and don't use it so I don't have
the time/interest to make a test.
